One of the largest tennis facilities of any Ritz-Carlton worldwide, the Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center features one hard court and ten soft clay Hydrocourts, and several clinics and lessons for tennis enthusiasts ages three to 103. Tennis magazine recognized the luxury Florida facility as one of "The 50 Greatest U.S. Tennis Resorts” and ranked it number three in the United States in “game arranging,” a category that identifies the country’s best tennis resorts for players who want to be matched with others at their skill level. Designed by tennis legend and current ESPN commentator Cliff Drysdale, its practical and innovative features include stucco columns and soft nets as fencing, tall hedges as natural windscreens and underground irrigation systems to keep the clay courts in perfect playing condition throughout the day. When not traveling, resident pro Cliff Drysdale, one of the top 50 tennis players of all time, oversees day-to-day operations, helps develop programming, offers videotaped, one-on-one lessons, and fantasy matches. Tennis Pro Shop: A completely equipped pro shop is on site with a collection of designer shirts, shoes, dresses and assorted tennis accessories. Tennis Concierge: On staff full-time to provide guests with complimentary personalized and customized services -- even before they arrive to the resort.
