Located a short drive from the hotel, on the barrier island of Key Biscayne, the Crandon Park Tennis Center is home to the Sony Open, a 12-day tournament featuring the top 96 men and women tennis players in the world. The facility boasts 26 courts in total on four surfaces (grass, hard court, American green clay and European red), with seven lit for evening play, and a full-service pro shop. The Cliff Drysdale Tennis Program at Crandon Park is comprehensive, offering instruction for all ages and abilities, and includes private and semi-private lessons, group clinics, game arranging, leagues and tournaments, junior academy programs, tennis camp and tennis team building.
