You may be willing to walk barefoot on the lawn, read a book, sunbathe on a wooden deckchair or surf the net through the free and unlimited Wi-Fi service: you can do that.

In the garden of the Hotel you can relax and breathe the perfume of grass and flowers, looking at the sea and the sunset colours. The garden is house to holm oaks, strawberry trees, black locusts, lavenders and olive trees. You will share the park with some friendly little hoopoes and pheasants. At the gazebo you can have lunch in your bathing suit or trunks, allow yourself a snack during the day or enjoy a tasty aperitif.

Emilia is a four star hotel with a swimming pool overlooking the sea of Ancona. The swimming pool is at your complete disposal every day and from there you can also admire the panoramic view on Portonovo from a privileged position; instead, if you prefer to reach the beaches of Portonovo Bay, the Hotel guarantees a free and comfortable shuttle car service between June 15th and September 15th, at set times.

Peace and Relax

The hotel is surrounded by a private Park of 27,000 m². You can walk barefoot all over the lawn, where a luxuriant grass constantly grows, and find a personal corner where to think, dream, read or be lulled to sleep by the gentle breeze coming up from the sea.

You can lie down under the shadow of holm oaks, strawberry trees, black locusts or Aleppo pine trees and admire the horizon, trying to get a glimpse of the nearest Croatian islands. While walking at sunset, you can catch sight of a pheasant, a hoopoe, a hare or other beautiful animals. You can also pick and taste fruits from our trees, such as apricots and cherries.

In the open air, surrounded by the park, directly on the steep cliff overlooking the sea, you will find the big swimming pool – 25×12 m – with a variable depth from 1.5/3.5 m and a summer temperature of water of 28°C. It is completely in the sun light from dawn to sunset and you can plunge into it or relax there for the whole day. Soft mauve swimming pool towels are at your disposal on the deckchairs under the shadow of big coloured umbrellas.

For those who love traditional games, there is a small bocce court to recover an old and popular pastime, and for sport lovers a tennis court is available.
