The lovely sandy beach where, according to the Greek mythology, the famous hero Hercules found rescue from a terrible storm that destroyed his ship, is only a very short walking distance away.
The nearby village of Kardamena is 4 kilometers away. Access to and from the airport is easy, approximately a 15-minute drive, whereas the distance from Kos town, the capital of the island, is about 31 kilometers.
